What is embroidery?

Embroidery is the art of stitching designs and letters onto fabric surfaces. Quick Stitch Embroidery uses computers to digitize artwork and SWF embroidery machines to produce high  quality embroidered items at an affordable price.

What is digitizing?
Digitizing is the process of converting artwork into a format which embroidery machines understand. Using specialized software, they create a computer file which instructs the embroidery machine how to move, what type of stitch to sew, when to change thread colors, and to knot the end of threads.

What can be embroidered?

All types of fabric and leather can be embroidered, although embroidery of the final product will depend upon the quality of the  original artwork and the chosen fabric. Trademark and copyrighted materials may not be reproduced without a license agreement or written consent from the owner.

Who supplies the articles to be embroidered?
Quick Stitch Embroidery offers a large selection of apparel items to chose from, and of course you are always welcome to bring in items to be embroidered.

How do I care for embroidered items?

Quick Stitch Embroidery recommends following the
manufacturers care instructions for each individual item. Do not use bleach and avoid ironing the actual stitches themselves. It is also a good idea to turn the embroidered item inside out prior to laundering to avoid snagging or other abrasive contact during the wash cycle. Also avoid dry cleaning as it is not recommended.
